Career Dynamics
Career Dynamics provides career education and school-to-career services for eligible youth in select school districts in Allegheny County. Students are given the tools and the support to remain in school, attain a high school diploma, and to develop worker characteristics and marketable skills that make them ready to be employed or to attend post secondary education.

The Customized Job Training Program serves as a conduit for state training grants for local businesses.

Mindleader's offers over 800 courses in 300 topics. You can register, learn and complete assignments from your computer.
Adult English as a Second Langauge (ESL)
The Adult ESL program seeks to help any non-English speaking person to learn American English.
Center-Based Vocational Training
The Allegheny Intermediate Unit Educational Services and Support Division offers a variety of vocational programs to students with disabilities at Mon Valley School, Pathfinder School, and Sunrise School. Students train in well equipped vocational shops simulating a real work environment.
Adult Education and Workforce Development
Adults in Allegheny County have many educational opportunities through the AIU's Adult Education and Workforce Development department. Most of the programs target economically and academically challenged parents who are interested in improving educational and employment opportunities for their family. Others courses help potential employees develop skills needed in the workplace.
Travel Instruction
The Travel Instruction Program includes training components that enable students with disabilities as well as adults to move safely within their environment and maximize their potential to participate in workforce development activities.
